Would you like to become acquainted with the equistrian sport and the members of R.S.R. Marcroix? You are more than welcome to come and meet the members as well as the Rotterdamsche Manège!
The first introduction lesson is free of charge in case you own a RSSR sports card! The board can tell you more about this arrangement. Of course you are also more than welcome to come and ride an introduction lesson if you haven't purchased a sports card yet.
Experienced riders can ride along in the Marcroix-lesson every Thuesday from 7 p.m. till 8 p.m. The costs for a first introduction lesson are € 22,75 per lesson. Inexperienced riders can sign up for triallessons, which cost €19,- per lesson. If you would like to have a look first, we can give you an extensive tour of the Rotterdamsche Manège and afterwards you can join us for drinks at the clubhouse!

After your first meeting with Marcroix you're probably interested in becoming a member of R.S.R. Marcroix! If that's the case you can ask the board for an application form.
To be able to ride with the Marcroix-lesson you must first be admitted to the Rotterdamse Manège. This is realised by a conversation with the balloting committe of The Jockey Club. After this you will become a member of The Jockey Club, provided that no objections are made, and you can ride along with the Marcoix-lessons on Tuesdays.
The following costs are allied to the student-membership (rates 2010):
Contribution Marcroix: €12,50 (graduate school) €32,50 (university)
Sports card: €129,00 (graduate school) €99,00 (university)
Besides these costs it is required to purchase a ridingcard for 24 riding hours ar €367,20. This card is valid for 12 months. If these lessons are expended, €15,30 per riding hour. For student-members it is required to hand over an certificate of registraion at a higher education institution to the board at the beginning of every academic year.
